Knox Mutizwa Applauded By Coach Steve Komphela

South African-based Zimbabwean striker, Knox Mtizwa became a hero when he scored the winner in a 1-0 victory at Sugar Ray Xulu Stadium to give Golden Arrows a 1-0 win over Chippa United.

Mtizwa had missed several golden chances in previous games. Abafana Bes’thende coach Steve Komphela had this to say:

You can see that football is a game of emotions. This outcome and the goal he scores help us then to start pointing at the things we could’ve done better.

You could imagine what would’ve been said if he didn’t score that goal, it would’ve been difficult to get him out of it.

You wouldn’t even point at Bloemfontein Celtic but now you can easily point at it, one-on-one and the two passes he got from the defence of Celtic, you could look back and say you got a one-on-one with the keeper, did you take it? And ask again with other chances.
