Home Affairs and Cultural Heritage Minister, Cain Mathema professed ignorance over the several reports of abductions of citizens by masked gunmen in recent weeks.
Speaking to NewZimbabwe.com, Mathema swore that he has not received information concerning the kidnappings. He is quoted as saying:
I do not know what you are talking about! I do not know what you are talking about! You want me to react to something that I am hearing from you.

On Thursday morning the nation woke to the shocking news of the abduction of a comedian with Bus Stop TV, Samantha Kureya a.k.a Gonyeti.
She was taken away from her Mufakose home, stripped naked, beaten and forced to drink sewer water before she was dumped in Crowborough the same night.
