The Executive Chairman of Alpha Media Holdings (AMH), Trevor Ncube, has said that sanctions on Zimbabwe were not motivated by human rights abuses but by interests of countries imposing them. Ncube made reference to a number of countries which are known for violating human rights who still got assistance from the same countries and financial institutions that imposed sanctions on Zimbabwe citing human rights abuses.
