Warriors forward, Matthew Rusike, has sustained a horrific knee injury that could see him sidelined for almost a year.
Rusike sustained the injury whilst playing for his club Stabæk Football in the Norwegian topflight league.
Speaking after the incident, Stabæk’s physical therapist, Erik Moen. said:
We have to check the knee so that we know exactly what it is, but if it is a cross-band injury, then it is about nine months away from football.
The development is a huge setback to the career of the Zimbabwean international who also broke his hand at his very first Stabæk training early this year.
His contract at the club expires at the end of the current season and he could find it hard to find another club considering his lack of game time.
