The Spokesperson of the opposition MDC, Daniel Molekele, has criticised the government for blocking party demonstrations. He said that the bans on demonstrations were tantamount to the death of democracy in the country. He likened the situation to what prevailed in the colonial Rhodesia where natives were arrested and spent years in prisons for merely asking for basic rights. Watch the video below.
