1.7 Million people reportedly protested in Hong Kong’s Victoria Park yesterday. The protests started 11 Weeks being a small group up until it grew to almost 1.7 Million people yesterday.
The protestors’ 5 demands are:
- Full withdrawal of the extradition bill
- Retraction of characterisation of protests as “riots”
- The unconditional release of all arrested protesters
- Formation of an independent commission of inquiry
- Universal suffrage
