MDC Caught Between A Rock And A Hard Place – Political Analyst

The MDC is in a quandary on what course of action to take following police and High Court decisions to ban it’s planned demonstrations.

The MDC notified the police of its intention to demonstrate against the untenable economic situation over a week ago, only for the police to ban the planned protests a few hours before they could commence.

Constitutional law expert and political analyst, Alex Magaisa opined that the party has a huge decision to make going forward. He said:

After today’s events, Zimbabweans and the opposition leaders face both philosophical and practical questions: what do you do when you are faced with unjust laws, an unjust regime and unjust referees?
