Highlanders Player In Fistfight With Team Manager
Talented Highlanders players, Denzel Khumalo, is alleged to have fought with the team manager, Vezigama Dlodlo after the former had been fined for allegedly attending training clad in a wrong kit on Wednesday.
The incident was confirmed by highlanders’ coach, Mandla Lulu Mpofu, who revealed that the matter which happened when he and his deputy, Bekhithemba Ndlovu had already left was now under investigation.
Some players who witnessed the scuffle believe that Kuhumalo will this time be axed from the Bulawayo giants. An unidentified player who spoke to The Chronicle said:
It’s sad really that such a talented boy can ruin his career like this. I don’t think the club will forgive him this time around. I can safely say his romance with Highlanders is all but over.
It is alleged that Bosso captain, Ariel Sibanda, tried in vain to reason with Khumalo.
