Mosimane Refuses To Comment On Billiat Transfer

Mamelodi Sundowns coach, Pitso Mosimane on Wednesday night sidestepped questions over the war of words between his club and Kaizer Chiefs over the possible transfer of Khama Billiat to his former club.

Mosimane emphasized caution and respect as he refused to comment over the furore.

Kaizer Chiefs were incensed following remarks made by a Sundowns official that there were ongoing talks between the two clubs for the transfer of Billiat.

Chiefs went as far as threating to take action against Sundowns.

Speaking to reporters following Sundowns’s 1-1 draw with Chippa United at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium in Port Elizabeth on Wednesday night, Mosimane said:

The rules say that if Sundowns want Billiat they must approach Chiefs club to club. But I don’t want to comment.

Meanwhile, Billiat has not yet featured for his club this season as he is reported to be nursing a minor injury. He is expected to be available for the clash with SuperSport United on August 24
