Madhuku Reprimands Chamisa For Being ‘Selfish’

Leader of the National Constitutional Assembly (NCA), Lovemore Madhuku has condemned the Movement for Democratic Change (MDC) led by lawyer and pastor, Nelson Chamisa for its “selfishness”.

Madhuku told ZBC News that this is not the right time for the opposition to call for demonstrations as the government has set up a platform for dialogue, the Political Actors Dialogue (POLAD).

POLAD brings together President Emmerson Mnangagwa and some the losing candidates who took part in the 2018 presidential election.

While Madhuku is part of the so-called State House Dialogue, Chamisa has turned his back, insisting on meeting Mnangagwa one-on-one.

Madhuku castigated Chamisa and his party for demanding a face-to-face meeting with Mnangagwa. According to ZBC News Online:

Professor Madhuku also said the ‘selfish’ MDC is not in the Political Actors Dialogue (POLAD) because it wants to the there alone and speaks of President Mnangagwa’s legitimacy when it comes to certain issues but puts the rhetoric aside when it comes to allowances, government vehicles and diplomatic passports.

  1. If anything,Madhuku is the most selfish of all selfish people on this earth. Why did he form the so-called NCA party knowing very well that there were other vibrant opposition parties like the MDC? Secondly he joined NEPAD for selfish reasons simple.Thirdly the fact that he was appointed to the Monthlante commission further speaks volume of his selfishness

  2. Madhuku is right ….Chamisa is the reason things slowed down as he is antipeace .With peace things stabilise. Anxiety and uncertainty is what Chamisa is for

  3. He is Lucky to demonstrate in Town where urban dwellers are dominated by born frees. He must ask himself why his Party loses support in rural areas? Who is more legitimate him or Munangagwa whose party controls the majority hence the legislature? Tomorrow we can change everything and put to rest the questions of doubt and give choice to bestow a leader back to winning Party .He has more to worry about than Munangagwa. Chamisa wants to be a President with such minority in parliament ?Certainly he is the one who will be haunted by chilling illigitimacy.Built a winning Party and then dream right not to use computers to wear presidential regalia – Embarrassing.Zvinoitisa munyama! Pafunge…uchafa usina kutonhora!
