MDC To Employ Peace Marshalls And Electronic Monitors For The DEMO This Week

The leading opposition is wary of Zanu PF tricks ahead of the much-anticipated demo to be held on Friday. The party has said they will employ peace marshalls and electronic monitors to guard against infiltration or hijacking by unruly elements Newsday reported.

Social media is awash with stories that say Zanu PF Youths are printing MDC T-shirts to infiltrate the protest so that the ruling party can unleash the police and in worst-case scenarios the army to quell the protests and stop people from protesting against the ruling party.

Speaking to the publication MDC Spokesperson said:

No stone has been left unturned in strict measures to ensure that the people’s free Zimbabwe march is going to be most peaceful, one ever witnessed in the country,

Digital cameras will be used to film the entire march to ensure that any violent planted elements trying to disrupt the peaceful march will be fully recorded. This is meant to ensure that the people’s free Zimbabwe march is not just guaranteed to be peaceful, but also to be a resounding success.
