Here is a chain of events that supposedly happened at that particular tollgate yesterday
1. Motorist protested the new price by blocking the toll gate.
Motorists are blocking Toll Gates in protest to the new toll fees which went up from $2 to $10 today. This 500% hike comes regardless of the propaganda by the Finance Minister, @MthuliNcube & Regime Associates that prices were coming down after introduction of a local currency. pic.twitter.com/NYBtNWvxEJ

2. Motorists opened the boom gate and passed through without paying the new price.
1. Consequent to the Toll Gate fee hike from $2 to $10, motorists have been driving through without paying after opening the boom at 1 toll gate. The toll fee increase will lead to a price hike of goods bcoz all products are transported & shops will pass on the hike to consumers. pic.twitter.com/WidzmfqxdF
