Taking it to Twitter The Deputy Minister of Information, Publicity & Broadcasting Services has said the whole region has condemned the MDC planned Demo. Southern African leaders, he says condemned the planned DEMO and President Mnangagwa is building the country step by step.
He also issued what looked like a threat in the same tweet when he said, any attempts to disturb the president from building the nation step by step will be met with a firm hand.
“Any sensible Zimbabwean will not risk their life taking part in such a futile event.” the minister wrote.

- Hon Matemadanda- We will release soldiers who are trained to kill if the protests are hard to squash
- Hon Mathema – We are on high alert to crush any violent protests
- The President – We will deal with those who want violence
The minister did not name any specific SADC leaders who showed concern about the planned DEMO.
