Ndiraya Yearns For The Dynamos Of Old

Dynamos FC coach Tonderai Ndiraya is targeting restoring the fallen Harare giants to their former glory where the fans expected them to win every game at home.

Dynamos drew 1-1 against Triangle FC in a Castle Lager Premier Soccer League match at Rufaro Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

Triangle took the lead in the 30th minute through Trevor Mavhunga. Dynamos equalised through mid-season acquisition Godknows Murwira in the 39th minute through a deflected free-kick.

Speaking to reporters during his post-match media briefing, Ndiraya said:

I have said it in the past, there’s a level where we must get back to.

Whilst there are some positives with some players slowly turning up, I will not be satisfied until we get to a level that befits our status. We want to compete with the big teams.

We want to get back to the times when we would beat teams at home, times when our supporters would come expecting a win at home.

Dynamos is now on 7th position on the log having amassed 24 points, eight behind log leaders FC Platinum who played out a goalless draw against CAPS United at Mandava Stadium in Zvishavane.
