NSSA Forensic Report Exposes Shocking Corruption, Fraud, Criminal Abuse Of Office & Theft

The recently released National Social Security Authority (NSSA) forensic audit report is reported to have exposed massive and shocking corruption scandals and mismanagement of public funds.

The Chronicle reports that the report discloses underhand dealings which prejudiced NSSA of more than US$175 million.

The publication further reports that jailed minister of Tourism, Priscah Mupfumira is further incriminated by the report.

The Chronicle also says that Mupfumira authorised every shady, illegal and or unprocedural deal which in turn resulted in NSSA losing lots of money.

She is also said to have authorised the awarding of housing contracts to some corporates without going to tender.

For instance, Metro Reality’s links with Metbank chief executive officer, Mr Ozias Bvute, are reported to have contributed to the company’s favourable treatment which saw it being awarded two off-take housing contracts in one day. Part of the reports reads:

Metro Reality got favourable treatment from NSSA because of its links with Metbank. The company is owned by Mr Bvute and Mr Ndebele, who are the executive directors of Metbank.

Metro Reality was awarded two off-take housing agreements same day without going to tender.

Meanwhile, pensioners are struggling to get their pension contributions in time. They also argue that what they are getting is not commensurate with what they contributed to NSSA.
