Minister's Daughter Assaulted & Left Unconscious At A Popular Harare Night Club
The daughter of Dr Obadiah Moyo, Health Minister, was reportedly assaulted and left unconscious at a popular night club in Harare recently.
The daughter, Ashleigh, is believed to have been assaulted by her friend, Godfrey Utsiwegota, and a South African woman believed to be the girlfriend of Chatunga, the son of former President, Robert Mugabe.
The incident came to light when Utsiwegota appeared before magistrate, Learnmore Mapiye, on Thursday facing assault charges.
The State alleges that Ashleigh was assaulted by the duo when she was leaving Pablo night club where she had finished recording her music around 11 pm on July 26.
The South African national, Ovio Mgijima, reportedly punched Moyo before Utsiwegota joined. The State further alleges that the accused assaulted Moyo until she fell unconscious.
