Billiat Rejected Offers From Egypt, Morocco & Saudi Arabia – Agent

With the South African premier league 2019/20 season starting this weekend, speculation over Kaizer Chiefs winger, Khama Billiat continues to mount.

Recent reports have linked the player with a sensational return to former club Mamelodi Sundowns.

Billiat left Sundowns last season on a free transfer after his deal had expired and signed a three-year contract with Chiefs.

Speaking on SA FM on Wednesday night, Billiat’s agent Mike Ngobeni, however, said that he was not aware of Sundown’s interest. He said, according to The Citizen:

Yes, there were two offers from Egypt and Casablanca also made an offer. There was also one from Saudi Arabia.

But we work differently. We work for the player. Khama is not ready to leave Chiefs and he told me he wants to spend another season with them.

He wants to win something with Chiefs. So we can’t force him into anything he doesn’t want.

Mamelodi Sundowns coach, Pitso Mosimane reportedly said that he will be interested in having the 28-year-old Zimbabwean international back if he becomes available.
