The Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Environment, Tourism and Hospitality Industry, Munesu Munodawafa has been picked up by the Zimbabwe Anti-Corruption Commission (ZACC) officers for questioning.
A senior ZACC official has confirmed to ZBC News on the development and said further details will be availed soon.
Munodawafa becomes the third high profile figure to be questioned by ZACC after Environment, Tourism and Hospitality Industry Minister Prisca Mupfumira and former principal director state residences Douglas Tapfuma.
The arrests follow President Emmerson Mnangagwa’s granting of arresting powers to the anti-graft body.
