SA's Banyana Banyana Pummels Comoros 17-0 In COSAFA Match

The South African women’ national football team, Banyana Banyana, thrashed the Comoros 17-0 in a COSAFA Challenge match played on Wednesday in Port Elizabeth.
Banyana Banyana broke a long-standing record in the process, beating the previous best scoreline of 15-0 registered by the Mighty Warriors of Zimbabwe against Lesotho 17 years ago.
Captain Refiloe Jane plundered four goals for Banyana Banyana.
South Africa’s next game is against Madagascar on Friday at 3:30 pm.
