Zimbabwe Premier Soccer League champions, FC Platinum will face Callisto Pasuwa’s Malawian side Nyasa Big Bullets in the Total CAF Champions League preliminary round.
The Norman Mapeza coached side will begin its campaign away in Malawi first with the game set to be played on the weekend of 9-11 August.
The former Dynamos coach will take his Malawian side to Zimbabwe on the weekend of 23-25 August for the second leg.
The winner over the two legs will then face either Simba of Tanzania or UD Songo of Mozambique in the first round.
In the CAF Confederation Cup, Taurai Mangwiro’s Triangle United start their campaign against Rukinzo of Burundi.
If they progress, Triangle FC is set to face either Tanzania’s Azam or Mekelle of Ethiopia in the battle for the group stage.
Triangle FC will be playing for the first time in any continental competition while FC Platinum reached the group stages for the first time in the previous edition.
