Tiengani and her two children she begot with the accused decided to go and seek refuge at her former husband’s house which had survived the disaster.

The state further alleges that the complainant arrived at around 7 pm but was denied entrance into the house. The misunderstanding reportedly led to a fight with Mandimandi assaulting Tiengani with fists and booted feet all over the body chasing her away from his home together with his children.
