AFCON: Nigeria Edge Tunisia To Get The Bronze Medal

Nigeria has won the bronze medal in the 2019 Total Africa Cup of Nations final after beating Tunisia with one goal to nil. The Nigerian goal came from the current AFCON top goal scorer, Odion Ighalo, in the first half.

The Super Eagles of Nigeria could not proceed to the finals after losing to Algeria in a quarter-final match. On the other hand, the Scathing Eagles of Tunisia failed to subdue Senegalese Lions of Teranga.

Meanwhile, the AFCON finals between Senegal and Algeria are on this Friday. All eyes will be on Manchester City’s Rihad Mahrez who recently scored a stunning 94th-minute freekick that sent Nigeria packing.
