The Zimbabwe Congress of Trade Unions (ZCTU) on Tuesday said that its leaders, president Peter Mutasa, and secretary-general, Japhet Moyo, received letters that had bullets in them. Below we present the full text from the letters.
We are aware that you are planning ghetto meetings disguised as labour fora to mobilize the people including rowdy elements for a stay-away on-22 July 2019. If our businesses are destroyed during that stay-away, be warned that these bullets will get into your ass. We have got plenty bullets for you and your family. This time we are not going to sit and watch while you mobilize hooligans to destroy our businesses. We have hired mercenaries to deal with you once and for all – unless you stop what you are planning. Peter Mutasa we are aware that you deserted your house at number 8978 Kuwadzana Phase 3 and now residing at a known safe house in Borrowdale. Japhet MOYO, your children are vulnerable vanodyiwa nemagora. It’s now game on handei tione.
