Chamisa Denied Access To See Job Sikhala In Prison

The MDC president was reportedly denied access to see the jailed legislator Job Sikhala in Masvingo today. Chamisa who is in Masvingo for a rally today had gone to visit his MP when he was reportedly denied access to see Job Sikhala. According to Dr P Ruhanya’s tweet, this happened about 3 hours ago before the rally started.

Sikhala was jailed last week on treason charges after he was quoted saying the MDC will “overthrow the government” which the state is claiming is a treasonous statement. He will apply for bail at Masvingo High court tomorrow.
