Sibusiso B Moyo: Let's Draw A Line Between Politics & National Interests

Foreign Affairs Minister, Sibusiso B Moyo has called upon Zimbabweans to draw a line between politics and national interests. He said that only by so doing, will Zimbabwe be made great again. Moyo said that differences are tolerated but there have to be some limits.

Speaking to Zimbabweans gathered at the Zimbabwean Embassy in the UK, the Zimbabwe House, the minister said that every Zimbabwean despite political affiliation has a role in the development of Zimbabwe.

Moyo encouraged the guests to make contributions to the development of the nation. He said that the government viewed the diasporans as an important sector of the economy. He made reference to some countries which are benefitting from the contributions of the diasporans and said Zimbabweans should also emulate that.

The minister also said that every contribution, including ideas, was important in the development of Zimbabwe. He also said that Zimbabweans in the diaspora also can play a positive role in building Zimbabwe by being good ambassadors. He said that this helps the country in achieving its diplomatic offensive policy.

Moyo added that diasporans needed to take an active role in the development of Zimbabwe. He acknowledged efforts the diaspora community is already making to help Zimbabwe. He said that there are some who have been donating ambulances to medical institutions in Zimbabwe to assist the communities.
