Former Minister of Finance and MDC vice president Tendai Biti said that it is foolish for people to believe that the economic challenges being experienced in the country will be dealt with by President Emmerson Mnangagwa’s government.
Biti describes the current Administration as a kakistocracy, that is, a system of government that is run by the worst, least qualified, and/or most unscrupulous citizens. He said:
It is absolutely ridiculous to believe that the rate will soften, queues will disappear and power blackouts will be a thing of the past under Emmerson.
It is the faith of an asinine type to think that ZANU can ever turn around this economy, In short, it is just absurd to believe in #ZANU.
This is a unique regime. Its levels of incompetence are beyond belief. Its appetite for looting is beyond measure. Its predatory extractive mentality is without precedent.
It’s lies and deception are redefining the art of spin. It is a pervasive vampire State, a kakistocracy.
