“Lies Have Short Legs,” Chasi Presents Proof Of US$10 Million Payment To ESKOM

Energy Minister, advocate Fortune Chasi has presented proof of a US$10 million debt payment made to South Africa’s power utility, ESKOM. Social media users were accusing him of “lying” about the payment which never happened. It appears that when he announced the development, the bank had not transferred the money to ESKOM.

  1. Question is when did you get that proof of payment? Was it in hind sight after you were put on the the spot or prior to your announcement…haa ahhh tell the truth? Now rbz must explain to the nation why a telegraphic transfer of our money is not showing on the beneficiary so many days after it has been done
