Welsh professional footballer, Aaron Ramsey, has joined Serie A giants, Juventus after spending at Arsenal. He was coming from Cardiff City where he played as a schoolboy.
When he decided to join Juve earlier this year, Arsenal showered him with praises and good luck wishes. The club’s statement read:
Aaron’s made a fantastic contribution to our club since joining from Cardiff City in 2008. He has always been a consummate professional and will always have a special place in the hearts and memories of Arsenal fans around the world.
We look forward to Aaron helping the team to a strong end to this season before he joins Juventus in the summer.
Ramsey joined Arsenal in 2008 and scored 64 goals in 396 games. He is now set to take Claudio Marchisio’s old no.8 shirt, a number which was left vacant last season following the veteran midfielder’s departure.
Meanwhile, club chiefs are preparing to announce the signing of Adrien Rabiot on a free transfer from Paris Saint-Germain.
