Creators Of A Women “Undressing” App DeepNude Takes It Offline

When we thought we have seen it all, BOOM a women undressing app came into the picture. Deepnude had created an app that used Artificial intelligence to virtually undress women. The idea behind such an app was to entertain masses the developers.

DeepNude used artificial intelligence to create the “deepfake” images, presenting realistic approximations of what a woman might look like without her clothes.

Guns came out blazing from social activists and analysis as they said it could be misused and used as a revenge tool. DeepNude saw the need to take down their app and tweeted about it saying;

We never thought it would be viral and (that) we would not be able to control the traffic. Despite the safety measures adopted (watermarks), if 500,000 people use it, the probability that people will misuse it is too high. We don’t want to make money this way.

However, their deep fake invention had already bought a ticket to not so cool apps as it was described by activists as a “horrifically destructive invention”, and many other nasty reviews.
