The Warriors have resumed training as they prepare for thair encounter with DRC in an AFCON Group A match. There were reports suggesting that ZIFA had threatened to pull out the team from the tournament as the players were refusing to play until they were paid their outstanding balances. The players reportedly agreed and asked the association to arrange transportation as soon as possible. Although the association is refuting that, some of the players who spoke to the Chronicle revealed that one player, Nyasha Mushekwi pledged to personally pay the players.
