  1. Which school did Phillip attend? I heard hes’; rich but does not mean hes intelligent. Economics is not for everyone.

  2. Its good to have our own currency instead of foreign money that is dirty and soiled to an extent that you cannot use it anywhere except Zim. This should push the gvt & encourage all citizens to increase productivity so that we manufacture for export. But this possible if and only if we love our country and bury our political differences and become patriotic. We should be proud to have our own money as citizens. Lets move away from depending on foreign aid and stop forex corruption at all levels.

  3. I agree wth chiyangwa , production is what we need. Commodizing the USD wll take us nowhere. Tht economy is home to speculative tigers knowing nothing bt speculation. At times the love fr your country shd come first.

  4. Tiri kupembedza ngozi tichiti mudzimu. There is so much we need to do and put in place before we can reintroduce a currency. Production. Two FC reserves to back it up. Monetary policy regime which I am sure we don’t have in the form it must exist. Transparency and accountability. This is the elephant in the room. The value of currency is very transient. Every statement the government makes affect the currency. All senior government appointments; court judgements, droughts etc. It is not enough when you have a currency to continue blaming England and Blair and sanctions. No one takes you seriously. And when people don’t take you seriously no one will take your economy seriously and with it your currency. For now who can take an economy seriously that fails to provide its citizens with fresh water, fuel, electricity hospitals, groceries, jobs? Holding someone’s currency is betting on them. The more people are betting on you the greater the value of a currency. The more they turn away from it, will remember 2008.
