The National Physicians Association of Zimbabwe (NaPAZ) has issued a statement following the government’s move to scrap the multi-currency regime.

Commenting on the development, journalist and political commentator Hopewell Chin’ono wrote:

The cost of private medical care has come out and it is pricey folks! To initially see a physician you will pay Z$1800. On review dates, you will pay Z$1050.
