@ARTUZ_teachers president Obert Masaraure has been arrested in Wedza for allegedly violating his bail conditions. This morning he released [this] statement: he insists that on 14 June he reported at Hwedza Police Station.

Please pray for the safety of @ARTUZ_teachers president Obert Masaraure who has just been arrested again. πŸ™πŸ½ Since December, he’s been abducted and tortured twice, arrested 4 times, imprisoned and denied medical treatment. The State is persecuting him for standing up for teachers.

Masaraure was out on bail having been arrested and charged with subversion against a constitutionally elected government.
