ZANU PF stalwart and former Home Affairs Minister Obedingwa Muguni has died.
Reports indicate that Mguni died last night at Harare’s Avenues Clinic after a short illness.
ZANU PF sources who spoke to the Chronicle revealed that the late party deputy chief whip and MP for Mangwe succumbed to a diabetic ailment.
He was 57.
Mguni’s death was confirmed last night by Zanu-PF provincial Chairman for Matabeleland South Rabelani Choeni. He said:
I have just received the sad news but I don’t have more details. Get in touch tomorrow (today).
