Zimbabwe Cricket Elects New Board Despite Government Calling Off AGM

Zimbabwe Cricket today announced a new board elected at an Annual General Meeting in Victoria Falls.

The announcement was made on Twitter:

Zimbabwe Cricket may, however, be headed for a clash with the government after the Sports and Recreation Commission called off the Victori Falls AGM earlier in the week. Prominent journalist Larry Moyo, described Zimbabwe Cricket as “defiant”:

The new Sports Commission board headed by Gerald Mlotshwa on Thursday announced ZIm Cricket AGM had been called off.
ZC went ahead and elected a new board.
