Judith Chapman, the Executive Director of the International Society of Blood Transfusion (ISBT), based in Amsterdam has just revealed how Information Communication Technologies (ICTs) could be positively used to assist the human race.
She was recently in Kigali, Rwanda for the World Blood Donor Day (WBDD) global launch where there was also a hand over of the flag to Italy for WBDD 2020. Chapman reports that 26,000 units of blood have been supplied using drones in Rwanda.
