Triangle United FC midfielder, Delic Murimba is set to undergo trials at newly-promoted South African Premier soccer league side Stellenbosch FC.
Murimba left the country for South Africa on Thursday. Triangle United FC said in a statement:
Delic Murimba left the country today. He is travelling to South Africa for trials at a newly promoted side into South African Premier soccer league Stellenbosch FC. As Triangle United Fc we wish him the best.
If the trial is successful, Murimba will join a huge number of Zimbabwean players plying their trade in South Africa’s ABSA premiership as well as the National First Division.
He will also enhance his chances of making it into the Warriors side as reports indicate that of the 23 players selected for the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations, 14 are based in South Africa.
