Warriors defender, Alec Mudimu (25) has received a good luck message from his Welsh club Cefn Druids AFC ahead of the Africa Cup of Nations.
The club also wished the Warriors godspeed as they embark on a journey to lay their hands on the AFCON trophy for the first time.
The former Stalybridge Celtic, Northwich Victoria and Stockport Town defender was included in the 23-man Warriors squad which is now in Egypt ahead of kick off on June 21.
In a message posted on Twitter, Mudimu’s club wrote:
Congratulations to @AlecMudimu on making the Zimbabwe squad for AFCON 2019!
They will take on Mohamed Salah’s Egypt in their opening game on the 21st June, whilst also facing off against DR Congo (30th June) and Uganda (26th June).
