FULL TEXT: Air Zimbabwe Issues Statement On Flight Disruptions

Air Zimbabwe has issued a press statement advising its clients of flight disruptions due to mandatory aircraft maintenance. The statement by the airline reads:

PRESS STATEMENT
FLIGHT DISRUPTIONS DUE TO MANDATORY AIRCRAFT MAINTENANCE.
05 June 2019.
Air Zimbabwe wishes to inform its valued clients that due to a mandatory aircraft maintenance requirement on the Boeing 767-200ER there will be flight schedule disruptions from Friday 7 June to Monday 10 June 2019.
The mandatory maintenance check will run from 6 June to 19 June 2019. However, management is working on alternative equipment arrangements in order to ensure normal service is resumed as from Tuesday 11 June 2019. Passengers with confirmed and ticketed bookings on the affected days will be contacted as regards alternative travel arrangements.
The Airline sincerely apologises to its valued clients for all inconveniences caused. Once the maintenance requirement is accomplished the aircraft will be released back into service.
We thank you for your continued support and patronage of the national Airline.
