The Minister of Industry and Commerce, Mangaliso Ndlovu has castigated the private sector for hiking prices of goods without justification.
Ndlovu was addressing ZANU PF youth during an inter-district youth conference held in Bulawayo. He said:
After dollarisation, Zimbabwe became the fish pond for US dollars that saw other countries coming to open shops here and take the US dollar. The other issue is the pricing of the private sector.
No matter how the private sector increases prices or charge in US dollar, they don’t increase the salaries of their employees.
