PICTURES: “Everyone Is Happy Now”, Salah Speaks As Liverpool Beat Tottenham To Win The UEFA Champions League

Liverpool beat Tottenham Hotspur to lift the Uefa Champions League Cup. Mohammed Salah converted in a penalty two minutes into the game. Origi added the winner in the 87th minute. Spurs put Liverpool under real pressure in the latter stages as Dele Alli headed over and Son Heung-min and Moura forced impressive saves from Brazilian goalkeeper Alisson Becker. They, however, could not find the back of the net. This 6th Champions league trophy puts Liverpool at number 3 behind Real Madrid (13) and AC Milan (7). After the match, Salah said

Everyone is happy now.

I am glad to play the second final in a row and play 90 minutes finally. Everyone did his best today, no great individual performances, all the team was unbelievable.
