Mutsvangwa Disowns Twitter Account, Says It's Fake

Former Zimbabwean ambassador to China, Christopher Mutsvangwa has disowned a Twitter account posting messages in his name.

The parody account posted a message saying that ZANU PF has failed to run the country and should therefore quit. The post reads:

Am trying without success to find a conceivable and credible excuse for my party and govt’s failure to resolve the current economic haemorrhage.

Comrades, lest just quit and let the next generation take over. They too love this country. They need it more than us in fact.

Earlier in the year, when another “fake” account posted in Mutsvangwa’s name, he blamed the former Higher and Tertiary Education Minister Jonathan Moyo as well as G40 members.
