"Bring All The Sick & Afflicted,” 'PROPHET' OSCAR PAMBUKA To Open Own Church

Oscar Pambuka, veteran TV personality announced on Thursday via his Facebook page that he was now a prophet and was set to open his Church this Sunday in Houghton Park, Harare.

His post on Facebook read:

Meet Prophet Pambuka. My first ever service is on this Sunday in Houghton Park. Some were asking me the name of the ministry. Its(sic) called Oscar. Pambuka Ministries. Come and see the power of God at work. Bring all the sick and afflicted.

Many were shocked whilst some believe he is just joking. Some have sarcastically argued that his spiritual father could be Remnant Desire of All Nations Ministries leader Prophet Talent Madungwe. He, however, did not retreat from his announcement as his other post read:

Prophets are not voted into office like you think or need to be ordained on Facebook. God chooses whom He wants.

Recently, Pambuka was divorced by his wife Nyasha Pambuka nee Makota. He was also arrested in 2017 together with former ZANU PF MP Psychology Maziwisa and convicted of fraud after swindling the Zimbabwe Power Company of $12 650, and during the same year, he was dumped by the ZBC.
