Gospel artist Mathias Mhere revealed that his new album will be launched on June 21, after he initially setting the launch for the first week of June.
The postponement of the launch resulted from the passing away of Mhere’s brother who succumbed to injuries he sustained in an accident in South Africa.
Mhere said that he has since added a track to the Album Greater Than Solomon called “Chipangamazano” dedicated to his late brother. Said Mhere:
We are now going ahead with the launch of the new album on June 21 at the same venue.
I have done a track for my brother called Chipangamazano, in which I celebrated his qualities.
He was very supportive of my music and I’m definitely going to pen a song for him on the forthcoming album. The song is just to remember him. He loved music too, although he didn’t sing professionally.
Greater Than Solomon shall be launched at The Venue in Avondale.
Tourism minister Prisca Mupfumira and Goodness and Mercy Ministries leader, Tapiwa Freddy, would be the guests of honour.
