Minister of Finance and Economic Development Mthuli Ncube on Monday denied that he ever said that Zimbabwe will have a fully-fledged currency in the next 12 months.
Ncube made the remarks on 11 April while appearing on United States of America television, Bloomberg TV. In the video below, Team Pachedu dug the short video clip where Ncube is heard saying clearly what he is denying now:
On 11 April, @MthuliNcube said that we will have a fully-fledged currency in the next 12 months.
He even retweeted a @BBGAfrica article mentioning the same.
Today, he is denying it and is now saying that we already have a currency in the form of the RTGS$.@InfoMinZW pic.twitter.com/ZBaaMUdISq
