Oskido Snubs Bulawayo Arts Awards Stating He’s Not Zimbabwean

Radio DJ and music producer Oskido has rejected a nomination by the Roil Bulawayo Arts Awards stating that he is not Zimbabwean.

Speaking to the Bulawayo Chronicle, James Mathenga a publicist from Oskido’s Kalawa Jazmee stable said:

Please note that Oskido was born in Brits, South Africa, and was raised in Bulawayo therefore he doesn’t qualify for the nomination.

Oskido, born Oscar Mdlongwa was born in South Africa but would spend his childhood in Zimbabwe before returning to South Africa where his music career started.
