Huawei Woes Continue As Microsoft & SD Association Join Google In Suspending Business

Microsoft and the SD Association have joined Google in suspending business with Huawei. The two are some of the larger companies to do so in response to an executive order by the US government placing Huawei on a blacklist of companies that cannot do business with US entities.

This means Huawei cannot use Microsoft software and technology in its products anymore. It also means it cannot use microSD slots in its phones anymore going forward.

Huawei is a victim of an ongoing trade war between the US and China. Huawei is believed to be under the strong influence of the Chinese government.

Other companies that have stopped working with Huawei due to the ban are ARM, Intel, Qualcomm, and Broadcom.
