Nurses Issue A 14 Days Notice To HSB To Address Raised Issues

Mr. Enock Dongo, Zimbabwe Nurses Association (ZINA) president has said that the Health Apex Council failed to agree with the employer in Thursday’s meeting and were, therefore, considering alternative options to express their grievances. Dongo said:

All health workers have agreed to issue a 14-day notice to the HSB to address the issues that were raised.

His remarks come at a time when the Health Services Board (HSB) board chairman Dr. Paulinus Sikosana has indicated that the government is already seized with issues the workers brought to the table.

Sikosana also said that the Board was still open to negotiations.

Nurses join other health workers and teachers who also recently gave the government up to June to address their grievances.
