WATCH: When Does Austerity Ends & When Does Prosperity Begin?

The secretary of Finance, George Guvamatanga has said that austerity measures being implemented in Zimbabwe are necessary for the full recovery of the economy. He likened the Zimbabwean situation to a doctor-patient relationship saying that austerity measures are providing first aid. He said that the pain will continue to be felt despite the first aid.
