Madinda Ndlovu Cannot Explain Why Bosso Fails To Score

Highlanders FC coach Madinda Ndlovu said that he is at a loss to explain why his team failed to score against minnows Herentals despite domination possession, a theme recurrent in most of their games.

Bosso was held to a scoreless stalemate by Herentals on Sunday in a Castle Lager Premier Soccer League match played at Barbourfields Stadium.

Speaking to the media after the match, Madinda said:

All the ingredients of football are put together, and at the end of the day, there’s no one to eat the food. So, that’s as simple as I can put it.

Anything else I think you can interpret it how you saw it out there, otherwise my comment will not matter anymore because you can never play football like this and come out without any results.

That’s beyond us. We’re doing everything we can. The last time I said if you look at all aspects of the game, you find them in our game, the way we construct our passes, the way we get into the box, the way we move around, you get everything.

Highlanders have now failed to score in their last 5 matches. They last scored in the 3-1 defeat by the Mark Harrison-coached Harare City.

After 8 matches, Tshilamoya Bosso has hit the back of the net only twice, averaging 0.25 goals per game.
